Life contains a variety of challenges that can hinder you from experiencing the abundant life of Christ. Some of these challenges may feel like a mountain — impossible to climb; too difficult to navigate on your own. That is why Compass Counseling exists to help people where they are.
The vision started in 2005 when a passion to help people was birthed in our founder, Jeff Black. The journey since then has been an adventure that finally landed him in Southlake, Texas, close to his childhood hometown of Keller. Along the way, God placed a desire in Jeff’s heart to walk closely with men, ministers, marriages, missionaries and addicts in an effort to help them find true freedom from lies, faulty beliefs and strongholds that keep them from experiencing all that God has for them.
The Goal: Create a safe place where people can be real with a counselor that tries to be real with them.
The Hope: This atmosphere of authenticity will help guide people back to their true identity in Christ.
