Jeff Black is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
While Jeff specializes in marriage and family counseling, he also has experience working with both substance and sexual addiction, grief, teen issues, marital infidelity, forgiveness, trust, anxiety, boundaries, parenting, and spiritual issues. Jeff also offers Marital, Premarital, and Pre-engagement counseling that will help couples of all ages better prepare for or enrich their journey in marriage. Jeff is an ordained minister and his 13 years of ministry experience enables him to relate with and help ministers from all denominational backgrounds.
In addition to his experience and training in Professional Counseling, Jeff is also a Certified Professional Life Coach. His training through the Institute for Professional Excellence In Coaching (iPEC) allows Jeff to guide individuals in ways that will help them achieve measurable success in areas of life that are holding them back from becoming who they really want to be. His desire is to work with moms, dads, parents, pastors, couples, students, and athletes of all ages in helping them become something or someone they never dreamed they could be.
Jeff and his wife, Ali, attend Gateway Church, where he has participated and been trained in Freedom Ministry. They have been married since 2007, and love raising their two sons and one daughter together.
