Under the supervision of Jeff Black, LPC-S, Lauren is licensed as a Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate). She enjoys helping her clients find peace in the present, healing from the past, and empowerment for the future. Helping bridge the gap between your current reality and your most-fulfilled life, the goal of treatment is to bring clarity, improve understanding and communication skills, and foster an environment that brings relief to the levels of stress and anxiety in your life. Whether you are working through a trauma, grief, boundaries, communication, behavioral issues, or another circumstance, her goal is for you to be empowered and thrive!  She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sand-Tray working therapy.  Currently, she is pursuing credentialing as an Internationally Certified Sand-Tray Therapist (ICST).  While Lauren works with several populations, she is specializing in child and adolescent therapy.

Lauren has spent the last twelve years volunteering with children and adolescents in various capacities through church and non-profit organizations and is passionate about seeing children and young people thrive in their identity and community.  In her free time, Lauren enjoys stand-up paddle boarding on the lake, reading, and writing, as well as traveling. From 2018-2020, she spent 2.5 years living in England with her family.  While there, she volunteered with a non-profit and traveled over Europe.  Lauren has participated in various mission trips globally, including Thailand, Peru, South Africa, and Sierra Leone. In each country, she worked with local organizations to equip people with sustainable resources and leadership skills.

Lauren accepts some Cigna and Aetna insurance plans, and she offers a sliding-fee rate dependent on household size and family income.

Lauren offers sessions in-person and via Telehealth.
